Yoga Retreat Days
Reset, Restore, Reconnect
Step away from the busyness of life and into a space of rest. My retreat days offer a gentle pause—a chance to move slowly, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself through yoga, nature, and meaningful connection with others.
A Day to Come Home to Yourself
My yoga retreat days are designed to nourish the nervous system, calm the mind, and bring you gently back to centre.
Held in peaceful Shropshire settings—often surrounded by trees or fields — my retreats offer you a blend of:
-
Yoga & embodied movement (suitable for all abilities)
-
Time in nature to ground and reconnect
-
Moments of quiet connection with like-minded people
-
Time to rest, journal or simply be
-
Creative or seasonal workshops with partner facilitators
Whether you join me for a half or a full day retreat, these special events are created to support your whole self — body, mind and spirit - in whatever way that resonates for you.

My Approach
As a trauma-informed somatic yoga teacher, with 30 years experience in yoga and meditation, I bring together science and embodied self-awareness to create safe, welcoming spaces for restoration. These retreats are a break from the busy pace of daily life with a gentle invitation to come home to yourself.
You don’t need to be flexible, or even to have done yoga before. All you need is a willingness to pause and tune in.

Upcoming Retreat Days:
Inside and Outside
Date: Saturday 20th September '25, 10am–4pm
Location: Rushbury Village Hall, near Church Stretton
Workshop Leaders: Nancy Lowe, Kate Buttolph and Kathryn Lewis
Details:
A nurturing day with movement, song and creativity, offering a chance to pause and reflect both inside and out – nurturing a sense of inner strength and courage and exploring what it means to bring this out into the world. Throughout the day, guided yoga sequences and thought provoking song are drawn together with reflective writing and community poetry exploring our theme. This is a day for all abilities and no prior experience is necessary in yoga, singing or writing, just a willingness to give things a go as we share our day together.
Our day includes:
Gentle and accessible yoga + somatic movement
Guided journalling.
Uplifting and thoughtful Singing.
Picnic lunch + mid morning tea break
£50 (includes all activities + refreshments)
We'd like this day to be fully accessible and are offering a small number of bursary places completely free of charge or on a pay what you can basis. Please ask if you'd like to have one of these spots.
This workshop is being run by myself, Kate Buttolph and Kathryn Lewis, who together form the wellbeing group Caer Connection.
